Good day,
On September 3rd starting at 10:30PM we will be performing VPS maintenance.
https://www.timeanddate.com/
This maintenance will be positioning us for our new product lineup and upgrades to existing VPSs.
Please shut your VPS down by that time or we will gracefully shut it down.
If a system doesn't shut down with the shutdown command after 10 minutes then we will force shutdown.
Once the maintenance is complete on the node we will start back up all VPSs.
Can't wait to share the exciting news.

Good day,
Houston just got hit with Hurricane/Typhoon Beryl with winds over 100 Mph / 160 Kpm.
There is significant power outages and infrastructure that is messed up.
Things are slowly coming back online and there might be "flickers" of down time.

Emergency router reboot.
We have been getting increasing reports of latency and stuck routes.
It appears the router is not refreshing as it should.
We will be rebooting the router at midnight CST

This notice is being sent to notify you of the scheduled date/time planned maintenance event on the Data Ideas/TXNet Network.
Scheduled start: April 9th Saturday 10:00PM -> Scheduled End: April 12th Tuesday 12:00AM CST (UTC-5)
Expected Impact Duration: 10-20 Minutes
Work Description: Update/Upgrading core network components.
While we are working on this over a span of 3 days. This is to minimize the total network downtime.

It appears that our Cogent uplink fiber has been cut again.
We have a work order for our Lumen circuit to be upgraded but they are taking their time.
We will keep everyone updated as we find out information.

We are getting reports of some network slowness or high pings.
That circuit is being overloaded and not going out our others equally.

We just got notification from Cogent (One of our uplink providers) that they are doing emergency network maintenance tonight.
Start time: 12:00 am central 09/10/2021
End time: 3:00 am central 09/10/2021
Down time should last no longer than 15 minutes.
Current time link for Spring(Houston), Texas https://time.is/Houston
This outage should not effect us as we have redundant uplink providers.
This message is to let you know that you might see increase in ping times till Cogent's link comes back online.

Cogent port has came back online. Routes are scrambled at the moment but given some time things will smoothen back out.

Another phone call to Cogent has mentioned that this will probably extend into the late morning hours of tomorrow.
We are online but at reduced speeds. There is a couple of troublesome subnets that we have that are down and trying to get up asap.

Vendor reports testing is complete and damage to fiber has been located. Arial fiber was pulled down and severely bent.
Line crew onsite working. We are hoping things will come back soon. Thank you everyone for working with us on this issue.
